Cancellations
Cancelled orders require compensation for incurred costs and related obligations at the time of cancellation. Due to the speed of our turnaround, you may only cancel a job the same business day you place your order. Due to the labor-intensive and custom nature of graphics files as they are processed with a printing order, Urban Dreams Design Studio will charge a non-refundable Cancellation Fee of 35% - of the order. If, for any reason, you cancel your order with Urban Dreams Design Studio, before proof approval, we will refund the amount of your order, less any incurred changes and less the amound of the cancellation fee. Jobs that are released to planning will be considered in 'Productions' and not subject to cancellation. The Job will be printed and only the shipping charge may be credited.
Design Services
Our design service assumes you know the general content and layout you have in mind for the design. Design fees vary, depending on the project. Design includes 4 proofs. If your proofing process takes more than 4 proofs, an additional $60 will be added to your design fee.
*Free Graphic Design/Layout
Occasionally, when producing big projects and design services are needed, we will include this service - free of charge. In the event, the client changes his/her mind with going forward with an order after design services have been provided, the client will be responsible for design/layout fee's to cover time/labor cost.
Refunds/Returns
If you are unsatisfied with your order from Urban Dreams Design Studio, please let us know. Contact our Customer Service Center at (866) 774-3345, Monday through Friday, 9AM-9PM EST, Sat. 10AM-3PM or e-mail us at custsvc@uddsprinting.com. We will make every effort to reprint the order to your satisfaction or issue a refund. VERY IMPORTANT: Because your print project is custom for your business, it has not re-sale value. Once we batch a job for printing, refunds are not available. We batch jobs at 10AM M-F. We are very efficient with that time. There may be charges if we have to terminate an entire batch for your job. it's usually 35% of the job for material cost.
IMPORTANT: You many have the choice of a refund or a reprint (per order). If you choose a reprint, this negates the refund (per order).
Customers desiring a full credit due to customer dissatisfaction related to issues listed above must return the full quantity of the order in its original packaging to receive credit. Partial credits will not be issued. Urban Dreams Design Studio will make the final decision on all refunds.
Orders consistent with approved proof:
Urban Dreams Design Studio will not accept responsibility for orders that are printed in accordance with accepted proofs. If certain elements are deemed unacceptable in the final printed product (mis-spelled words, poor photography, etc.), but were approved by the customer, these orders will not be subject to refund.
Shortage Claims
In instances of product shortage claims, additional product to complete the order will be shipped within five (5) business days from the claim. Shortage claims are limited to 10 percent of the total quantity of the order.
Shortage claims due to non-delivery of the full quantity of boxes shipped will be replaced or refunded in measure of the non-received quantity.
Pricing and Products
Urban Dreams Print & Design reserves the right to adjust prices for any product or service at anytime, due to market standards. We also reserve the right to discontinue products at any time.
Sales Tax
Urban Dreams Print & Design Studio is required by law to collect all applicable sales taxes for orders delivered to an address within the state of New York. Tax-exempt and resale customers must provide a New York State Tax Exempt Certificate for a refund of sales taxes.
Production schedule
Our production schedule is based on normal business days, weekends and National holidays are excluded. You may visit our website at any hour and place your order and/or send your art file. All orders/proofs received on weekends, holidays or after 12 noon eastern time will be processed on the next normal business day.
Business days are Monday through Friday. Holidays, Saturday and Sunday do not count when calculating turnaround. Turnaround does not begin until acceptable artwork has been provided. Please note that if we are unable to print your files because they do not conform to our file requirements, your job status will return to 'On Hold-Need Artwork' and your turnaround time will be reset.
Shipping Delays
Urban Dreams Design Studio or it's affiliated companies, does not assume responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time.
Delivery
Delivery times start when we verify your order, provided we have the necessary files and artwork needed to print your postcard, not from when the order is first submitted. Turnaround times vary and are not guaranteed. Our expected delivery date is not guaranteed. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays, such as, delivery service and/or breakdown of equipment. All orders are shipped UPS Ground, unless otherwise specified. Other shipping options are available.
Quote Accuracy
Quotations/Proposals are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided by the customer. Urban Dreams Print & Design Studio can re-quote a job at the time of submission if the said specifications have changed or does not conform to information on the original quote/proposal. Orders placed with Urban Dreams Design Studio are to the client's knowledge correct, and there are no conditions or agreements relating to the order which are not written or accompanying said order.
Rights to refuse service
For the protection of our employees and the general public, Urban Dreams Design Studio reserves the right to refuse to print or design any order we deem disrespectful or offensive.
Trademarks
Customer agrees that any trademarks or other protected name, image or design included in the customer's order for reproduction is being used with permission of the owner. To that end, the customer agrees to hold Urban Dreams Design Studio and it's affiliates harmless with regard to any action brought due to copyright infringement, including legal fees.
Indemnification
The customer wil indemnify and hold harmless the printer/designer, Urban Dreams Design Studio, from any and all loss, cost expense, and damages on any and all manner of claims, demands, actions and proceedings that may be institued against the printer on the grounds alledging that said printing violates any copyright or any proprietary right of any person. You certify that you own the rights to use the image(s) being reproduced on your order.
Limits of Liability
Urban Dreams Design Studio warrants that the work will conform to the instructions submitted by the customer. Urban Dreams Design Studios' maximum liability, under any circumstance, will be limited to the amount of the customer's invoice.
Artwork Files
It is the client's responsibility to maintain a copy of the original computer files, artwork and transparencies. Urban Dreams Design Studio is not responsible for accidental loss or damage to media supplied by the client or for errors on supplied artwork furnished by the client. Until we can evaluate digital input, no claims or promises are made about our ability to work with jobs submitted in digital format, and no liability is assumed for problems that may arise. Any additional translating, editing, or programming needed to utilize client supplied files are subject to addtional cost. Urban Dreams Design does not archive your work for longer than it takes to produce the final product. Please save your work in a safe place!
